I thought that the setting in Language and Appearance would do it but it's not working and I don't see any setting in Look and Feel for this either. My Mac changes from light to dark mode based on the time of day and I want Zen to do the same.

the setting in language and appearance is only controlling how sites looks (if they respect the pref)

Yoooo!!!!!!1 thank you so much!! this was the last thing holding me back from switching to Zen from Arc. It would be great if this feature was more discoverable to users, but at least someone can come across this answer now. really appreciate it!
oh its actually fairly discoverable, just not in the first place i expected to look 😁
