Auto updates on the Mac App is not showing any new version. Further the universal binary just stores Zen as a new browser with the name "Zen Browser" rather than updating the existing installation (which is named "Zen". Attached screenshots. I can give more information if needed).

Updating from inside Zen never worked for me, it’s just a constant update loop - I just download the DMG and drag the app again with each update

I did try dragging the App this time.. However, it got stored as a new installation rather than updating the existing installation too.

Dragging worked for me, so not sure what could the issue be🤔 Hopefully the team can sort it out - and the automatic updates too.
Do you have Full File Access enabled for Zen?

Actually Cheff just answered the discrepancy about the name. I had never needed to update from scratch (been using it for quite some time now). The change in the name happened some months ago and this behavior was expected. I was advised to wait for the update channels to catch up so will do that and update here once i get the new update
