#Jittery sidebar animation in compact mode

When I hover my cursor to the left edge of the screen over the sidebar in compact mode, the panel opens with a jittery animation. If I move the cursor to the left edge of the screen first and then move the cursor to the sidebar after the sidebar opens, as in the second video, the animation is smooth.
