#Regular disconnects in co-op

My friend is hosting a co-op game and I'm getting disconnected from the game all the time.

Can't remember when the regular "Your connection to the host has been lost" messages started (whether it was right from the start or mid-game), but now in end-game (90+ villagers) disconnects are so prevalent that the game is unplayable. The problem also occurs in Halmare Isles.

(I'm also getting random crashes without an error message.)

I included the logs. If you need the save file, I'm sure my friend can provide it.

Where do I find my 'Saved' folder?

Your 'Saved' folder is located here:
%localappdata%\bellwright\

How do I get to my 'Saved' folder?

  1. Open 'Run' through the Windows Start Menu and paste the above link
  2. Press 'WIN + R' on your keyboard and paste the above link
  3. Open 'File Explorer' and paste the above link into the address bar

Zipping the folder

  1. Right click on the folder named 'Saved'
  2. Select 'Send To' -> 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
    This will generate a zip file you can then upload

Uploading the zip file

  1. Drag and drop your zip file into Discord
    OR
  2. Use Discord's 'Upload a File' to upload the zip file

The Saved folder as a zip file is much too large to fit to the thread as attachment @dire reef

Can you try to zip only logs and savegames folders? or just a single save if that doesn't work too

We tried to play again (started from the Isles this time). It went well for about an hour, until the disconnects started again (first: 2026.03.25-15.32, second: 2026.03.25-15.36)...

Hi, sorry for not responding. I've checked the logs and sent it to a coder as well. Unfortunately we cannot reproduce those disconnects and logs don't tell us much. It could be some connection issues/instability on your side or a steam issue.

I don't think so. We will still do tests and try to figure out if it's possible to fix by us if disconnects occur.
