#Paying for an improvement sometimes takes the money but doesn't start the improvement construction

No mods installed. An error "Another construction is in progress" comes up, but there's nothing going on in the investments window.

Entirely repeatable from the same savegame and I've seen this happen before. Might be that the previous construction just finished(can we please at least delay them autospending points a bit more because they make such poor decisions?)

In the screenshot you see it start for a second. A couple seconds later the fisherman is cancelled and your money is gone

Your 'Saved' folder is located here:
%localappdata%\bellwright\

How do I get to my 'Saved' folder?

  1. Open 'Run' through the Windows Start Menu and paste the above link
  2. Press 'WIN + R' on your keyboard and paste the above link
  3. Open 'File Explorer' and paste the above link into the address bar

Zipping the folder

  1. Right click on the folder named 'Saved'
  2. Select 'Send To' -> 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
    This will generate a zip file you can then upload

Uploading the zip file

  1. Drag and drop your zip file into Discord
    OR
  2. Use Discord's 'Upload a File' to upload the zip file

I would but unfortunately with only 4 slots it’s gone now. But I’ve hit this before so I suspect I will again and will get the save then, sorry!
