Evening, I just downloaded the update and every time I go to play the game it immediately crashes. Any suggestions on how to fix the issue?

Where do I find my 'Saved' folder?

Your 'Saved' folder is located here:
%localappdata%\bellwright\

How do I get to my 'Saved' folder?

  1. Open 'Run' through the Windows Start Menu and paste the above link
  2. Press 'WIN + R' on your keyboard and paste the above link
  3. Open 'File Explorer' and paste the above link into the address bar

Zipping the folder

  1. Right click on the folder named 'Saved'
  2. Select 'Send To' -> 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
    This will generate a zip file you can then upload

Uploading the zip file

  1. Drag and drop your zip file into Discord
    OR
  2. Use Discord's 'Upload a File' to upload the zip file

@torpid ocean I'm unsure how to pull a log. The game is crashing as soon as I hit the play button on steam. I also have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, but that did not help.

just find the files on your pc, most likely it's somewhere in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Bellwright\Saved\Logs

I was but when the update downloaded I noticed that the mods would not work so I disabled them.

Hello, I have the same problem.
As soon as I log in, a bandit raid appears, and when my troops launch their assault, my game crashes and closes.

I'm also playing on an old save file with all mods disabled.

edit: I ran a game file verification through Steam and I'm not crashing anymore.

Out of curiosity, normally verifying files through Steam shouldn’t be necessary in a case like this. Did you press the Reload button in the menu on the left after disabling the mods?

Does unsubscribing through steam uninstall them because aI cant get in the game
