If you place for example a tree ahead of you in the centre of your screen and run forward in a straight line you don't get to the tree, you run on an angle to the right.

I believe this behavior in Bellwright is explained by the camera offset and alignment settings. The game’s third-person camera is not perfectly centered by default, which means your character’s facing direction can be slightly angled compared to the screen’s center. That offset makes it look like you’re sliding or drifting when running toward something directly in the middle of your screen.
