They cant enter the water
You need to get of rendering distance and they'll get all the points
Wdym, genuinely dont get it. I do however have them within settlement range. Issue is they just get stuck at the edge of the water because they cant really enter it. Like an invisible wall.
could u give place on the map where u build it?
This is now happening to me. Was able to put dock down on different part of lake than normal down by Horndean, worker can't reach place to put in materials and just stands there starving. When I try to slowly walk to it, it teleports me out. Was able to get him away from trying by making him companion for a bit. Can't find a way to move the blueprint cause I can't reach anything and can't move construction blueprint from map.

yeah, the dock is difficult to place it seems...a lot of times the delivery point for materials will be so far into the water that it cannot be reached. Would make sense to put it on the other side.
Closer to the part on the ground.
There are multiple spots like that next to this fishing dock below Farnworth. Also if the shore is too steep in some cases it still allows to place the building but build interaction points are so much below ground that neither player nor npcs can use them. Generally building blueprint shown before placing has not much to do with final building some end far below the ground like stockpile some end way above or with parts covered by uneven ground like tavern.
I can't build here
Docks
which is by the lower bridge, the one nearer farnworth/crasmere
I nor my companions can add materials never mind the building process
Ya know, if it was like a wagon caravan or something like that, then it wouldn't have to be in the water and would make more logical sense...
