If you experience a crash, please create a thread in #1147608045367590984 and post your entire 'Saved' folder zipped:
Where do I find my 'Saved' folder?
Your 'Saved' folder is located here:
%localappdata%\bellwright\
How do I get to my 'Saved' folder?
- Open 'Run' through the Windows Start Menu and paste the above link
- Press 'WIN + R' on your keyboard and paste the above link
- Open 'File Explorer' and paste the above link into the address bar
Zipping the folder
- Right click on the folder named 'Saved'
- Select 'Send To' -> 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
This will generate a zip file you can then upload
Uploading the zip file
- Drag and drop your zip file into Discord
OR - Use Discord's 'Upload a File' to upload the zip file
Alright, sorry for not having sent the files with the request ^^".
Here it is!
Rather, it's this one.
Well, i dont see something that can affect on ur FPS in files. But will be aware of that. Thanks
Maybe it happening in some special places or something?
No, it just happens the moment I open the game. It's odd, it's the only game it does that for me. And since it doesn't appear in the games for my NVIDIA app, I have no way to use settings that are "exactly right for my GPU so I'm a little lost at what to do here.
This is most likely fault of your GPU. Its pretty old and basically not supported.
As your village grows, the game demands more resources and eventually your gpu is just not keeping up
Actually, do you have 2 gpu's installed?
Can you check in game options that the better one is being used?
What? My GPU is old? Oo
Will do that as soon as I have finished to reinstall the games as I've changed my primady harddrive for a faster and bigger one.
For information here's my PC infos:
If you tell me that my PC is old, I'm gonna cry you know?
I'll check that it doesn't take the 1080 through.
Yes, I'm going to that soon.
So you have a 3060 and 1050ti installed correct?
Yes, I do.
Make sure 3060 is selected in graphics options
I should be finished to reinstall my Steam Libary in about an hour.
I will check that promptly upon the reinstallation of the games. It says it will take about 1h30.
... and my PC isn't old T-T. I spent money to make it get a 10 years lifting. T-T.
No no just the 1050ti 😄
Yeah, but it should normally only be used by the Artist Pro tablet, with the drawing applications. I'm wondering why it'd even be chosen by your game when I've set the Nvidia base app to force it on the 3060?
Ideally it should yeah
(And when are you registered on the NVIDIA Main App? I miss the neat "optimize" button of the NVIDIA main app... T-T.)
Is there something we can do to help you get registered with them?
If it’s not on the list you can add it manually. Just select bellwright.exe
This doesn't give you the "optimize" button unfortunately.
No problem. As long as the game rework properly for me, I'll be happy. It's one of my current main game. I'm sad such a thing happened that's all ^^".
Would you recommend the Reflex settings with the 3060 through?
I never thought I'd miss getting pawned by the bandits so much lol.
I updated my PC partly because of a dare on your game. I told my husband that I'm unable to advance in the game due to the usual lag, he dared me to try with updated components and advance more... and I don't know if i'll win this one lol.
Generally I’d say reflex is always a good idea to have on if your gpu supports it and since you have 3060 id keep it on 😄
It reduces input lag which is great
Yeah, because I refuse to admit that I'm too bad at gaming to reach over the first stage of Tech 2 on your game.
By the way: Happy new year, may your sales fly and your health be top best!
Thank you! Happy new year to you too!
Hola, si alguien me puede ayudar, he comprado el juego desde la plataforma steam y me da error en el disco duro al descargarlo.
... Sorry can't help with that.
@neon ginkgo , @celest coral so...
It does detect the right card. But it doesn't provide the corresponding options, don't even speak of the Reflex which is greyed, I can't even use the DLSS in the options of the menu. God know why...?
It also doesn't screen the bar from cortex:
Which is a must-have for people like me so we don't overdo it with the play time (it screen the real world hour).
So... I can't tell the current FPS, but for at least it's not as laggy as before. It has become much more playable.
You can enable fps counter directly through steam
You can try switching up scaling method to DLSS or FSR
@neon ginkgo I can't DLSS, it's greyed.
And the instructions weren't clear if I can use FSR since I'm on a windows, intel, and NVIDIA card.
Same :/
@neon ginkgo So, after a lot of research, and contacting Razer's support service, they couldn't find why the overlay doesn't work with them.
That said, they'll search why and contact me if they can find a solution.
Means, an option where we can see the current date and time on the game's interface would be very welcome for people with low time-estimation efficiency like myself.
About the graphic card, Nvidia answered me:
1 - Ensure the graphic card you want to be used is the main one on BOTH nvidia application. For applications like yours that don't appear in their optimizations setting, the "global parameters" are used, those are the ones you need to be sure.
2 - For those (like me) whose display are 1|2 instead of 1 and 2 (means that both my screen were showing the same desktop) you have to 1 - separate the desktops, or 2 - go to the second display's setting app (when it's a graphic tablet) and ensure that display isn't used for games (for those who have 2 graphic cards like me) if it's not on the higher graphic card (which normally it shouldn't be unless you're using some pro config).
3 - In the game now the both card are indeed accessible each with their own compatible settings.
4 - I'm still on the part of figuring out those instructions from there on, so I'm getting a little tired, and I'll go through them progressively.
@celest coral It seems we're on the way to resolve the problem.
BTW, now DLSS is on, but I'm hesitant to also use the boost.
The lag issue seems to have been solved, but there's been so many changes in my PC that it's hard to attribute it something exactly specific.
That said, both the time (hour it is) and the fps can be screened on the game and setup through Steam Overlay. So all isn't lost. Still, I suggest you guys check with the community if others have the problem about the Cortex Overlay from Razer.
For the FPS it goes at 30-40 on "Ultra" but 70-80 on "Elevé" (just under ultra) with DLSS added. You can see how I fixed things in the new save:
Hope any of this helps in any ways guys?
Hi, thanks for the info! You could also test using FSR upscaler with frame generation. That could give you an FPS boost as well (but doesn't have to, you need to test yourself). Also test different upscaler options - there's big difference between FSR quality and Native AA in terms of performance (same for DLSS quality and DLAA).
Hello, this problem self-solved when I upgraded my PC actually.
Just an FYI:

About this, did you mean the dropdown (that on your screenshot has "XeSS" selected) or Frame Generation ?
Asking as there might be an issue with dual GPUs worth investigating for future reference.
Frame Gen is only available on Ada and Blackwell GPUs (RTX4000 and 5000 series).
I don't think "Adad" or "Blackwell" are things europeans, never heard of them? And I don't remember what I meant becake then because my memory is damage so anything over long periods are hard to remember for me. Let me recheck real quick.
I meant that Reflex had "none," when it should have had at least shown up since the GPU I have do have Reflex anyways?
I see, then I can only speculate it's to do with your in-game video settings, maybe it is unavailable when XeSS is selected, maybe it requires Fullscreen or no framerate cap, etc.
Sometimes Nvidia driver-specific features may randomly not work after a driver update, that's also a factor.
One of the devs can perhaps bring more light to this 🫡
