As the game is now, when you try to place a building and it can't be placed, it will tell you something is in the way. It would be cool if we could still place the 'blueprint layout' to see exactly what all needs to be removed and cleared away without having to go back and forth in the menus.

I agree with you but there are "permanent" objects on the ground like the small 'trees stumps' that cannot be dug up. I think if you are going to cut down al the trees and dig up the stumps later to build, the forest area should be gone as well so when your villagers go to plant trees from the forestry a tree won't be between two buildings. I had a tree sapling that did not grow to a full tree cause I put a building in front of it and one just behind it.

autofix isnt that cool, but why not let the workers clear that as priority for building the project
