I think the villagers try to go the fastest route which makes them stuck in the process

and if you try to pull them by making them a companion and back into a worker, then they will abandon their task. After they abandon the task they will then drop all of their loot that was being delivered to the station.

They were able to get to the building before, but i believe possibly after the minor update from 5-17-24 these things started happening

this was happening to me ass well and i fixed it at my camp by building a fence there. Not a great fix but it worked for me

We're aware of these issue with T3 and are working on fixed which should be pushed in the near future (hopefully)
