I put a request for 20 woods, daily, but get 90 woods instead. This happens on 90% of the requests, for all items, not only wood.

I've noticed that deliveries where an outpost is the origin will send all of an item in the stockpile/storage vs requested amount.
Deliveries where settlement is the origin seem to be working as intended

To get past it sending everything in the stockpile, just limit the amount in the stockpile dropdown. Ex: Wood 20-20.
The workers there will only transfer 20 wood into the stockpile, then when it delivers, it sends 20. They will then replace it and so on.
