#Game Breaking Bug - Bloomery/NPC Smelting

I am having a bug where neither the NPC's nor I can smelt, it worked in the start, but no one can add ore to the bloomery or actually smelt anything, I tried destroying and re-building bloomery, nothing happened, so I am permanently hard locked from progressing in the game because of this game breaking bug.

I tried all the usual fixes - verifying files, restart etc etc etc.

a temporary fix is to add all ingots to the shop / enum however you accomplish this and allow players to purchase them instead of crafting

Your save folder is located here:

How do I get to my save folder?

  1. Open 'Run' through the Windows Start Menu and paste the above link
  2. Press 'WIN + R' on your keyboard and paste the above link
  3. Open 'File Explorer' and paste the above link into the address bar

Zipping the folder

  1. Right click on the folder named 'Saved'
  2. Select 'Send To' -> 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
    This will generate a zip file you can then upload

Uploading the zip file

  1. Drag and drop your zip file into Discord
    OR
  2. Use Discord's 'Upload a File' to upload the zip file

@brisk carbon Can you provide the saved folder if possible as asked above. While this is resolved , there is a huge chance that disassembling and rebuilding the building in question works as a temporary fix

seems to work for me on your save file, most likely explanation is it's already fixed on preview branch - there were multiple fixes to issues that could be related

can be related, at least the crash in one of your logs is definitely caused by it

regarding your issue, I would try with disabled wemod, and if that doesn't help - try on preview branch or wait for public update, shouldn't take long
