Right now it's:

  1. Gather them
  2. Feed everyone, that didn't had breakfast one by one
  3. Take everything out of everyone's inventory.
  4. Replace it with food
  5. Give everyone armor and weapon
  6. Have to read everytime everyone stats and attributes to give suitable weapon

Archers always didnt had bow, that i gave him last time.
There's a hoe on the weapon rack, while arrows, bows, and shields are in storage.

What do I suggest.

  1. You can choose a priority for each resident - two-handed weapon, one-handed weapon, or bow
  2. Arm yourself - all chosen residents takes the best weapon that suits his priority. For example, if there is a club and a sword in stock, he takes a sword and a shield, if he has a one-handed weapon in priority
  3. Feed yourself - all chosen residents takes every off from inventory and replace it chosen common amount of food

The eapon situation is also disconcerting. When you can see it's going to break after two hits, but you can't fix it yet

would be nice if squadrens could be saved and not disbanded when sending them to work

#

that way i can set up diferent squads with roles and call them when needed

#

with a button press pers squad

Would definitely be nice to set a prefered weapon for people and have them get it automatically, and have a setting to repair items under a certain level of durability rather than completely broken. Right now I have been keeping them lined up after a battle and if the weapon or shield they are carrying is low I take it from them and manually repair myself

Would be great to incorporate this with the "Call to Arms" command. If the villagers would then gather what they need or what theyve been assigned. Maybe you can build an actual building (like the travel post) where your army would mass up once theyre prepared.

The bow being in the same spot as the hoe and shovel which means if they use either of them, they have to put the bow way. Would be nice if that was not the case.
You can command them to eat from a stockpile and they will arm themselves from that stockpile as well, but they just grab whatever.
So they have somethings in place, but definitely agree it needs to be easier because you have going to have big armies.
I think they are trying to force you to have your 'army' be on guard and set villagers as non-combatants.

I think when you create an army they should go grab there best weapon thats available on a weapon rack and then also have an army ration system where food doesnt deplete as fast

#

we need a tool shed 🙂 or something where pawns place tools in the build that its used for like a slot for tools to stay in the buildings

you can feed them by ordering them by "E" on a storage with food, i keep one barn for just food, (it helps against spoilage too)
then they run there to eat (2-3 slots, its random for me unfortenatly though)

for weapons...yeah that part still sucks, you can order them to a weapon rack, but i dont know how they prioretize

I feel you, the only problem is that they will ignore settings sometimes so... expect to manage the weapons racks 🤣

Not sure if said but order to stockpile they will drop off junk and equip weapons shields and bows.. only issue I got now is food they don't even at when ordered to use it so I got line them up and hand out rations after they equip weapons

With my 12 people army, I hit 'E' on the stockpile and they all clump up trying to get to it. Many fail and just give up, not eating or equipping items.

There's an inventory bug right now that I believe is the cause of this. Usually due to 'hidden' items in their bags messing with their ability to follow through with the command

#

Unequipping their sacks/bags is the only way I've gotten around this so far. 😄

Then you have to move your army across the map, you run out of food to give them and the all wander off. No army 😵‍💫
