Say for example you have the first 4 rows of your inventory full of ingots, the bottom row will not be filled as ingot takes up 2 slots up and down, items should reorganize by rotating for easier access of your storage.

is better if they just stack while in your inv. like you can stack 10 tin ore or sum like that n each item has a different stack amount

I couldn't agree more. Stackable items would be great, maybe with a weight component that is upgradable.? Also, being able to rotate items so that they fit would be nice...or just automatically reorganize to make the added item(s) fit. Additionally, if I have my bag empty (9 open squares at the bottom), my inventory (above it) has less than 9 squares available, it would be nice if the LOG that i'm trying to pick up automatically goes into the open 9 squares in my bag. I believe as it stands now, I have to put a log into that bag manually, then I can pick up the other log, which goes into inventory.

Honestly, id go with some sort of mix of weight and size. Your bag can carry up to 50 lbs/10 cubic feet

you can have infinite items so long as you dont go over those two restrictions.
