Maybe t2 need the laborer apprentice to research, but I am thinking not ALL nodes but SOME nodes have a "rich" tag on them for a metal, and you can build a t2 building that requires a hard restriction like I said laborer, for unlimited but SLOWER gain of metal.

Starting to clear out tin and copper veins and still at that choke point with tanning rack in my game. But I kind feel the laborer is well worthless minus the tanning rack. Now if we could also get a primitive mine maybe t3 version as well later on with better production rate that would be a great QOL

I know we got stuff every where, its why saying make it t2 so mid game, then hide it behidn the laborer apprentince. But if you gonna work on a forestry hut like I keep hints at a way to self sustain ore would be nice to could bundle them into one larger update. I could see that update getting a ton of love online and news being shared in bulk as well if we got ability's to replenish trees.

Or alternativly make rich vein unlimited ore, but again require more hits with axe to get ore

I like the idea of requiring a tech level to harvest a ‘rich’ vein.

Perhaps t2 mining hut and t2 pickaxe with an ‘apprentice miner’ villager could harvest ‘deep mining’ nodes around the map.

Im guessing at present Regular nodes not replenish over time?

No they break over time, I had two tin in my settlment location expire ages ago lol. Now I got copper camp and it had 3-4 can't recall nodes its down to 1 now. But yeah I am hitting point I got have a moving camp for copper, tin, and now just hit iron bar status as well. Plus my settlement is looking like furngully when the machine pases threw it went from pretty to meme worthy for people who are pro planting trees lol.

But start mid game is crazy intense I am under geared and under so many restrictions like I got the smith and weaver but now I got liberate a second town to get drying rack to make t2 weapons, and armoe. minus the kettle helm that is bronze and hide, and yeah I make those in builk inhaling bronze as its less slowing then my t1 helms, and more armor lol

But I am just throwing it out there I saw they mentioned they can only respawn loose ore not nodes, at least way its set up right now. so its like what about update just make a circle on groudn under the node you break now I can put a building they can work over it...

Or this suggestion make it new node just replace it in map files if they can, not sure if that will force a respawn or new fresh start where it just doesn't break but you need the t2 pick to mine it...
