There should be a setting for toggling casual building where the dots are reduced..
Way to many dots and the hammering animation takes way too long.. for someone like me, but I can see how some might enjoy the realism of it so a toggle option would be best for all.

I've just started tier 2 buildings and I'm now experiencing the massive amount of dots and the slow animation of banging a nail in.
I could probably bare the amount of dots if they were done in 2 satisfying sounding hits. The dopamine might come back then as you see the building take shape more quickly

exactly what Senex said, keep a permanent stock of 4-6 building hammers in your storage and let the peasants do all the work

Building after tier 1 isn't supposed to be done by the player,... the villager have the labourer stat to increase build time,.. the player does not....

building isnt for players btw. Its for your settlers to do. thats why they have labourer stat. And u yourself cannot learn that skill ....
