I found the broken down wagon and looted the chest BEFORE getting the quest for the Caravan Part. The part was not in the chest when i looted it. I now have the quest...and cannot get the part. Please advise. Thank you.

Was this the "Broken Cart" point south of Aherndean near the crafters hut? I haven't been able to find parts there either.
