On around Day 16 (On my 4th restart) I was trying to collect boar pelts to make some armor. Prior to this decision, I was running into boars a normal amount of times. However, I am now on Day 29 and I have not run into a singe boar in game.
I have searched the areas around Haerndean and Padstow and Bradford, but have not been able to find a single boar.

Weirdly enough I had this issue, and then placed a boar trophy in my camp...next day or two, more boars.
No idea if there is an actual correlation, or random happenstance. However, I'd try it 🤷🏼♂️

Check again @halcyon belfry after this patch since migration of animals to save grounds has been fixed
