Is iron incredibly rare or am i just extremely unlucky?

I found iron right at spawn

No kidding, my world just decided to not have hematite or any other type of iron there at all, i'm looking everywhere and found nothing...then i started a new world to see what was up with that, found the first nearby cave on creative, and there it was, a big ol' cluster of it...god damn world generation.

Also a lot of those glowberries, like...everywhere. Literally everywhere underground. Oh well i'll figure something out, thanks
