This bug should be easy to fix from this clue: the error does not occur if you enter an environment variable for OpenAI Direct (ASSISTANTS_API_KEY), despite it not being relevant for Azure operations. I suspect there is a validation check somewhere that is shared for Azure and OpenAI when deleting assistant files ("Manage Files" - NOT knowledgebase vector stores).

Note: if you do add a dummy value for OpenAI, you'll get console errors relating to the enumeration of assistants on startup, so not an ideal workaround. Security note: the API key itself is logged to the console in this case.
Hey the same is happening for me also, the files uploaded to the the assistants (openAI) is not getting removed from the UI.
