Good morning, everyone. I trust you all enjoyed a splendid Easter break!

I'm seeking advice on whether anyone has successfully used PowerPoint files with the standard RAG or with assistants.
It operates seamlessly with various file types, yet consistently encounters issues with PowerPoint files. Assistants attempt to utilise their interpreter to access the files, but to no avail; the standard RAG outright fails to function.
Could there be an underlying reason for this, or am I possibly making an error?

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the developers and all contributors to this project—it truly stands out as the finest I've encountered. Although my contributions are limited to queries, as I lack programming expertise, please know I've committed to a monthly donation to the project on GitHub!

Have a great week everyone!

It could be that slides as a medium should be treated differently from ordinary text (reports, invoices, articles, etc.). Images play a greater role in slides, and content is condensed and presented in bullet points. So compared to a report, less text can be extracted from slides.
