I'm struggling with search because of the word "keyboard". It LOOKS like the colors are mapped to the number keys on my laptop keyboard, but when I attempt to play or practice no presses register. As a note, YARG is working as intended here. Like on guitar controllers, you also have to strum (up and down arrows) to hit the notes, not just press down on the frets.
