#game crashes immediately on boot

any time i launch the game it crashes immediately
i am launching it from the launcher
i see the unity logo and it disappears

also for note: i tried latest. i realize that this is a log from the last version (b3276) but logs looked exactly the same from when i first experienced it (on latest)
i tried b3276 cuz it was the last version that Worked

i can't grab logs until i get home, but i can confirm this also happens in fedora 43 plasma/wayland
