What I believe is happening is the game thinks the entirety of the sustained note is supposed to be in the phrase it starts in, as it is not possible to have the pie fill all the way on that note, and also the note in the latter phrase stops registering altogether.

I believe this was supposed to be fixed in 0.14, however this seems to still be present. Can be seen in the YARG setlist song Al Gore Rhythm

hm, yes, it seems that the fix was incomplete

(it did work in some other songs that I tested, so I'm not sure what's up with al gore rhythm specifically)
