Hello, I'm brand new to the PC rhythm game scene and I am trying to connect my profile in YARG with my Xbox 360 wired X-plorer guitar. My PC seems to recognize the controller being plugged in, although it just shows up as "Controller" in the devices page of Windows Settings, and the Xbox power button on the controller lights up in the P1 position, but the game does not seem to recognize the controller. Is there a mapping program or driver I need to install? Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
#360 wired X-plorer Controller Not Recognized

Did you set up a profile in YARG and assign a controller to it? If you want a controller to register in-game it needs to be assigned to a profile, which you can create in the Profiles section in the main menu. Most guitar controllers have bindings automatically made once a controller is connected, but if not or if they're wrong you can manually assign bindings in that menu as well.
When I go to set up the profile, it fails to recognize my controller to be selected
In device manager on control panel it does seem as though my PC recognizes the guitar as an Xbox controller and it claims I have the best drivers installed, but the only options that show up in the profile connection are "Keyboard" "Mouse" and all my audio I/Os
It does seem as though Steam doesn't even recognize it, though so the issue may be larger than YARG
If you go to a site like https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad does it show up?
