#TikTok Integration with modifiers

So guys, what if...YARG could have a mode to integrate with TikTok Live Studio, where if specifig gifts are being sent, then different effects could happen in game. I mean like double the track speed, make it brutal mode, speed up only one lane, break a string, break the whammy, double the notes, make it lefty, or even insta-fail the track?

Imagine it like GH3 boss battles, but here, the chat is against you!

What do you think?

It's a good idea in principal I guess similar to suggested twitch integration and such. Potential issue if it gets banned in the US though I suppose.

imo a safe way to do it is to implement it as such:

  • make the program able to receive signals from other programs (disabled by default)
  • add a modifier to enable the aforementioned behavior (disabled by default, maybe also disables leaderboard too?)
  • when the signal is received (independent of which program sent it), it triggers the effect (double notes, break string, break whammy, note shuffle etc)

this means someone could make a tiktok program, a twitch program etc. but YARG wouldnt reference any of these

the program would just hit the streaming platform API, send the signals to YARG, but wouldnt be a part of YARG itself
