this is 2 weeks late but in the meantime you can use bgsl (baileysoft games loader) to keep track of playtime. this is what i use for this

this is actually a cool idea. Steam tracks menu time so it isnt a good option. Having stats for things like hours/tracks played/ notes hit, etc

when I talked with Elite about it we thought about just checking played songs and getting the total length of it, so we could keep track of actual time played

you could even get weird and have strange units of measurement that could show up in flavor text. "you have played equal to Jimmy Hendrix "Voodoo Chili" on repeat 12,823 times"

that im not sure if I like, we dont have much space for that in the launcher but for the social profile yes, also want to show some other random stats as fun facts about the player
