when charting, scanning can be annoying sometimes. everytime your pc restarts or a update for the game comes out scanning songs takes a bit of time. so being able to just scan the folder where i put my WIP charts would be great

you can select that particular folder path and remove the broad song folders if you wanted to achieve this

Well for one, your pc restarting has nothing to do with anything. It's all cached.
Two, if the cache version is updated, there's no way around it. You wouldn’t be able to play anything because nothing could be validated.
