#Audio Interface Mic inputs (Analogue 1+2)/Same Device selection for 2 different profiles

So I am using 2 mics to do 2 vocals at the same time for me and my friend. I could just use 2 different inputs, like 1+2 and 3+4 as devices, but the problem is that I like to put my drums in input 2/4. So that means no matter what my drum audio will be picked up by the vocal engine of the game. I have additional inputs on the back on my interface, but they don't have preamp so the drums are too quiet to be usable.

I am using a focusrite 18i8, 2 XLR mics, and just a 1/4 cable from the output of my midi drums and monitoring it via a front input of the audio interface.

Does anyone have advice on how can I either 1. use the same device for 2 different profiles ( and just change the balancing ) or 2. Split the analogue inputs from my interface from stereo to mono?

I do not want to use VM Banana, I already have 9000 audio devices I would prefer to not add more VADs.

Thanks

If could just use the same device for both profiles, and the game let me balance the L/R of the input for each profile, I could pan profile 1 to the left, and profile 2 to the right and make them both mono so they would play through both sides of our headphones.

for now, my work around is just to take audio from my interface and route it through the AUX in of my drumset, that works, but only I can hear my drumming and my interface and volume knobs are very far away

a device cannot occupy 2 profiles at once unfortunately

it would be a nice advance option if it was a possibility

theres a reason why it doesnt work like that... cause people playing multiple instruments with one guitar and of the sort

also just letting user change the balance of an input would help, so that way I could still monitor my drums without the vocals picking it up

I'm just going to post some more for additional context incase anyone else is looking into this
