Hi, I was just testing out the latest alpha version with my Roland E-kit. Some drums (e.g. snare and bass) are working fine for me, but some others (like hihat) are showing up as being hit whenever I hit them (i.e. the yellow bar flashes for hihat) but when I hit a note that comes up on the screen it doesn't register that the note was hit. I tested a song on 10% speed just to be extra sure that I was hitting the notes on time. This is happening when I'm only hitting one note so I don't think it's a multiple input issue.

you're sure everything is mapped correctly? i haven't had any issues like this personally
you might've mapped a cymbal as a tom or vice-versa
so yellow'd still flash as you'd expect, but you'd miss the note since it's the wrong one
I've tried removing all bindings and then just putting in bindings just for the hi-hat but the same thing is still happening unfortunately. Was very careful to make sure that I wasn't hitting any other pads when binding and also verified that I was picking the yellow cymbal. Also tried deleting and making a new profile. I am not connected directly via USB to the e-drums as I'm using a midi interface (Roland Um-One) so I'm not sure if that could be contributing somehow? As I also noticed that each time I restart YARG, I have to go into bindings and bind a pad/cymbal again before the bindings reappear. And when first setting up a profile, it doesn't appear in the list of devices until I go into bindings and just go ahead and bind something.

this is normal, the MIDI device is only picked up by the game when the game receives some sort of input
as for the rest, sadly I do not know
do the notes you see in a MIDI monitor such as https://www.midimonitor.com/ match what you have mapped?
Hmm, YARG shows A#2 and D1 (Channel 9), while Morningstar Midi Monitor has Channel 10 Note 46. However I went into the bindings.json file under profiles and it does have note 46 there
sounds like the MIDI backend labels the channel numbers starting from 0 instead of 1
