Connecting Xbox RB3 Strat Pro Guitar to YARG

Hello! A friend let me borrow their rb3 pro guitar and I want to get it set up with YARG, but I'm wondering what's the best way to get it connected to my PC for the purpose of YARG.

Should I get a Xbox 360 controller receiver and connect wirelessly? Or should I use a MIDI to USB adapter? Or is there another preferred way to connect it?

YARG currently doesn't support the midi output of the protar, so the best way is to use a reciever

That being said, I must warn you that the protar engine is quite bad atm, however we are planning on improving it in the very near future
