Heyo!

Here is my latest creation, ispired by a brief idea grabbed from the #๐ŸŸฉ๐Ÿ˜-chat - Cake-o-Mat! It is an autonomous factory that produces... cakes! As well as a little bonemeal byproduct.
It was created with intention of making it as tiny as possible in order to include the whole factory into a cake. 1 story tall cake, yep.
It has capacity of 51 cakes (52 if supplementaries is installed), requires 1 cow, 1+ chikens, brass age materials and a bit of time. Once you launch it (with included starter mechanism) you may leave it going and embrace the power of cakes.
Here you can find 2 schematics:

  1. Skeleton version, with as little as zero decorations and encased parts (apart from required) and see-through design. It can be used in educational purposes or just if you want to decorate it yourself. No mods apart from Create are required.
  2. Fancy version, includes the whole build with decorations, catwalks and covers to hide animal inputs/entrance. Requires Create Deco mod for catwalks inside.

In comments lower I will provide some explanations as well as material list required for Skeleton version. Enjoy!

This is the material list with all resources (apart from water buckets) required for Skeleton version. Cows and chickens can be added on the top of both versions, though, more than 1 cow is unnecessary. The main bottleneck is wheat production (can be boosted with Farmer's Delight rich soil).

Empty buckets might be added before the andesite funnel on the top. These provide milk for the recipe.

During the construction, there are 7 spruce stairs (both versions) that might be waterlogged. You can do that during the schematicannon working, or added after (sugar cane will break if water is not added once any block updates happen next to it).

In Fancy version, these are the places used for animal inputs/entrance to the insides.

Both versions comes with mechanical starter to launch the steam engine. Lever positions are adjusted to the starting positions. Once you see the factory going, quickly swap both levers to opposite setting. The whole starter can be removed once it is launched (may be useful for Fancy version).

There are also some bits that might require some handy work before it launches:
Item Vaults, Copper tanks require re-installation once it was built with Schematicannon.
There is a missing Shaft in a schematic due to it being a part of steam engine.

Entire factory runs on 1 passive Steam Engine (2048 SU) with 32 leftover kinetic energy. You may want to switch mechanical piston into "Place only when anchor is destroyed" mode to mitigate excess noises of contraption inside.

@boreal bobcat @coarse void thank you very much for appreciation! It was a fun project to work on, as building a tiny factory with useful production was the goal. It was a brief thought I came up with while reading the chat, and turned out to be a great learning experience. Main issue throughout the whole build was to include the contraption that will gather wheat and sugarcane without touching the dirt in any position (to be copyable). That is the whole reason why a gantry can't be used in such a tiny build, as Ive tried.

Forgot to mention - Display Board shows the percentage of the vault underneath filled with cakes, as well as contains an empty line to include any comment above the percentage.
Factory automatically places new cake once it was eaten and has a depot with an item cake as well.

Ok! This is cool but its also hard to see how exactly you did it. I need to load the schematic in my creative world tomorrow to have a better look ๐Ÿ˜„

Yeah my friend did a factory and there were some tricky things like that you needed to do if it was built with schematic cannon. Good work on such a functional yet whimisical build.
