#Gemini/gem automatically or manual photo upscaling

I just saw an old Pixel 9 Pro XL day in the life of video and the guy made a good point about being disappointed in not being able to photograph his kids in 50 megapixels because it processed too slow and they move around too fast and that he paid a premium price for 12 megapixel photos and he didn't think that's fair. Or is it? I'm sure there's technical limits but I have heard of AI upscaling in TV's and I've had my standard definition/HD movies I bought through Google automatically upscaled to 4K automatically (thanks Google!), so perhaps at least a feature where there's an option to upscale family or any photos to around 50 megapixels when you put them in an album? It can be on device or similar to video boost? On device works as an option that takes longer or faster, depending, and uses an algorithm to determine the need automatically. Heck, even 24 megapixel like my Sony A6000 Mirrorless is better than 12 but 50 is the sweet spot. And perhaps, like with the photo unblur, or using Gemini to turn things from black and white to color and visa versa, have it not only make the PDF and word documents etc, but also 50 megapixel photos and perhaps even higher if done through Gemini? Plus add the offline feature maybe to Google AI Edge Gallery? That last one is secondary though as most people will have a connection most of the time.
