#No Gemini in Google Maps App

I still have the old Google Assistant in my Google maps app on my pixel 9 pro. If I switch to language English and Region USA and clear the cache I get Gemini for a while but sooner it later it switches back to Google Assistant. I am living in Germany but friends already have think in Google maps

Hi there @random arrow, thanks for raising this! Currently, the Ask Maps feature is only available in the U.S and India and in English.

Even after clearing your app's cache/cookies, as soon as the app refreshes, it sees you are in Germany and it reverts to the stable, regionally-supported version for navigation - which is still Google Assistant.
