So I don't have any screenshots for this, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra, plugged in wired to my car, because it does not have wireless Android Auto. My car is a 2021 Chevy equinox and I am a DoorDasher so I use navigation through Android Auto constant. Just before I asked hey Google Look up this piece of information. I can't remember what I was asking it to Google at the moment. But it told me that it couldn't do it because I was in motion, which it always did before when it was Google Assistant. Then it told me that it could see that I was in motion and I was due to arrive at my destination in 15 minutes and I could Google search then, except the fact that I was literally turning the corner to pull into the driveway of where I was delivering. It was 15 seconds not 15 minutes away. So it couldn't even determine my navigational position. I don't know what else to provide you, cuz as I said there's no screenshots available

I have a few other issues going on with it, capabilities that it used to have when Android Auto is still under Google Assistant, but I don't think that that's something to post here? That is probably an Android auto bug?

@stoic gate Hey, we appreciate the feedback regarding the GPS accuracy and voice command restrictions you experienced while using Android Auto, this is super helpful!

So:

  1. I used to say "hey Google" take me to therapy, and it would go to my pinned locations and navigate me to the office I go to. Now it says "I've found these three offices nearby, would you like to navigate to one of these?" But none of those are my pinned places. But it does navigate to my "work" and "home" pins.

I don't know if this is the right place as this started before Assistant was fully replaced. In fact it started even in my last car too (that was a 2018 Chevy Malibu).
So I'm a DoorDasher, and in my phone contact list I have saved my support phone number. And I would say "hey Google, call premium Dasher support." It started replying "I'm sorry, who are you trying to call?" I repeat, so does the system, 3 repeats before the system just write. However, I can say "hey Google, call Dasher support" and the sister does say "I'm sorry who are you trying to call?" I repeat "Dasher support." The system: "calling premium Dasher support." And it starts ringing ... 😐

  1. also started before Gemini:
When I'm plugged in, if I have any media playing, a YouTube video I'm listening to, or Netflix or Hulu etc, or even Samsung music with my own MP3's, if I say "hey Google" it activated, but silently. I see the Google colors flex at the bottom of the screen, doing something. But doesn't come through audibly. I can ask it to do a search, or a simple math calculation, and it does it but doesn't come through audibly, so I don't hear the answer. But say I ask to make a call, or navigate somewhere, after a few seconds or starts dialing or giving me the directions. That few seconds of silence would be when the system is telling "ok calling XYZ" or "ok beginning navigation" but just doesn't come through audibly.

  1. here's a text Gemini issue:
I asked it a question about how AI image generators come up with characters that can look similar to actors/actresses playing a part, like I saw one that looked like Ariel Winter, but named Alex Dunphy from her character in Modern Family. So I suppose that's how the image prompt didn't hit the red flag stop. But this was the texted out response within the text thread:
#

Seems Gemini's keyboard is having a spacebar glitch

This just happened too, came right here to report it
