#Feature Suggestion: Expanded Creative Freedom for Art & Roleplay

Hey Gemini Team!

I’d like to suggest the implementation of an Opt-in "Mature/Fantasy" Mode for Gemini. Currently, the safety filters can be a bit restrictive for creators working in specific artistic or literary niches—even when the content is clearly fictional or stylized.

🎨 Visual Arts: Comic & 3D Rendering
For users working on comic book art, 3D character renders, or digital illustrations, the filters often flag content that would be considered standard in those industries.

• The Ask: Allow more leniency for non-photorealistic styles. If the output is clearly "Art" (Comic/3D), it should have a higher threshold for what is permitted compared to photorealistic imagery.

⚔️ Literary Context: Fantasy & Gritty Realism
In collaborative storytelling—especially within fantasy realms—high-stakes encounters, intense combat, and gritty dialogue are staples of the genre.

• The Ask: Introduce a toggle or "High-Fantasy" mode where the AI recognizes the context of a fictional world. If a user is roleplaying an adventurer in a dangerous setting, the AI should be able to match that intensity without triggering "safety" refusals for non-real-world scenarios.

Why this matters:
Many of us are using Gemini as a creative partner for world-building, character design, and novel writing. A dedicated 18+ or "Unrestricted Creative" toggle (behind a verification gate) would allow Gemini to truly compete as the go-to tool for serious artists and writers who need a bit more edge in their work.
