I use the Gemini that is part of my Google Message app, hard baked into my Samsung phone. It sits alongside my normal text messages, not the standalone Gemini app. This is a deliberate choice, as I do not want to use the Gemini app.
I noticed today that it can no longer make images for me. This is new. It's always done images just fine, before. It's been great fun. Today, however, it shows the three "thinking" dots, then nothing. I am pretty sure that it thinks that it's sending something. But I get nothing at all. I then have to send another message to get a response.
Once I stop talking about images, I at least get a written response.
Is this a known issue at this time? Is it being looked at? Is there a solution that I simply do not know about? Thank you in advance for any help.
(Disclaimer: The part about telling it to power down and back up was a joke. Obviously it can't do that. I was frustrated, and thought it would be funny.)
