"Too many requests" even though none have been made

Bug with the mobile app (desktop has no issue I can see) where there is a toast notification every time I go into it telling me too many requests have been made, even though I haven't made any today. Also, it says apps activity is off even though it isn't when you hit the blue link to go into the setting itself.

I've force closed the Google app to get Gemini to reset, but with no change.

I just tried a simple "hello" prompt. It is still possible to use the mobile app despite what it says, and conversation are logged/saved even though it says activity is off.
