The option to create a public link to share ONLY
"this prompt and response" appears broken as observed using Gemini 2.0 Flash on Android.

Further still on the web (gemini.google.com) it appears only possible to "share conversation" which relates to the entire chat with no option to select only "this prompt and response"

where are you seeing this screen?

If in app, please make sure your app is updated

This is the android app. On the surface updated but possibly still being rolled out and/or something cached ?

Force stopped the app as much as it goes against the grain and the new mode is now evident
