I have always found it a bit strange that you first get the medium size and then later on the small and big docking ports. Specially since the second tier is now mission locked, it looks awful to put the medium size docking port on the MK1 Tin Can pod.

I think it makes sense in the context of SM size parts being unlocked first, and only later getting access to the XS parts for mass savings
