Yeah being gay or lgbtq of any kind is rly hard, especially when you had thought you weren't before and then all the doubt and questions pour in.

But even though it doesn't feel good sadly it is a normal and okay experience, and it's mainly caused by the cis/het society refusing to acknowledge and accept us. You didn't choose to be gay, and it's hard but it is also normal. You'll be okay sooner or later, whether that means you stop hating it or others start accepting/validating you, in the end you'll be fine.

It’s okay to be in denial about who you are. But at the end of the day, it’s nothing to be ashamed about or to hate. Some people are just born differently than others and that’s okay. Maybe society refuses to accept we exist but we do and you’re not invalid for being you.

I can see where you're coming from. It's not being gay in and of itself, it's that society hates us. I hate that society hates us. Because when a majority hate/are disgusted by you, it makes it harder to live.

I hate that I can't genuinely confess my feelings to guys I liked in school the same way straights can. Romance/sexuality, a huge part of who you are (assuming you're not aro/ace), has to be suppressed for a large majority of your life.
