i think its a little like wearing a corset, its fine if it doesnt restrict physical activity but you have to monitor it see if its affecting ur organs placement or if its causing any major discomfort. our body adapt. although i do suggest maybe if you want ur waist to be smaller without any major changes in diet or workout, you could try one of those waist trainers or layer a corset or just something that provides more support? Again im not a professional in healthcare but heres my suggestion!
