i just experienced my first taste of homophobia.
I joined a catholic server and after a while they started to bring up stuff in my bio, like being aroflux and demigirl.
They called me a troll and an "atheist pixie fed"
I didn't really fight much about but then I was banned, however my friends werent
They started to speak badly about my sexuality and gender identity to my friends, who forwarded the messages to me
They called me handicapped and said I was hoeing out.
Mind you, they knew I was a minor and I think its weird they went to say I was hoeing out.
I feel pretty upset and a bit sick.
Any tips to get my mind off of it?

First of all, you shouldn't listen to what they have to say. People in these sort of religious groups are very mean and sometimes cult like. You should not in any way listen to them. They spread negativity.(even if they may not recognize it)
Secondly you should tell your friend to stop sending you the messages since they're not doing any good. They are only making you feel worse. Try to think about the people who support you and love you.
And lastly, never forget to love yourself for who you are. You matter. Your gender and sexualities matter. No one has the right to judge you for that.
