So im thinking about coming out to my mom tomorrow as my dad is leaving fora trip and then it will just be me her and my sibling but I’m scared and I don’t know how and im not sure if she’s homophobic or not but like I watched stranger things and wills coming out scene with her and she had no reaction but like idk and yeah and like help please yall

If you don't know if she's homophobic try saying you have a friend that's gay, if she's fine with it you could tell her if not just hide it.

Safety is the most important thing.

Try what Prodamente said, because my dad was fine with will's coming out scene but he is homophobic.

Maybe say something like this: Hey mom I met this cool person but they're gay, is that okay?

If she say's i don't care or doesn't react, just ask if she's homophobic.
