It depends I think, like, how are they homophobic, are they just some unimformed people that just laugh at things they don't understand themselves, or are they real assholes that will never accept someone that are homosexual ?

Because if they're real friends, and you explain to them clearly how they shouldn't be homophobic, maybe they could change their views and you could come out to them ?

But if they're really some homophobic assholes, they can go (respectfully) fuck themselves, and you should try to distance yourself from them
