I have a friend who refuses to even remotely care about herself. She is convinced she is wicked and bad when she isn’t. She’s a good person she cares about keeping women safe (she is a bit of an alcoholic and goes to bars a lot and will regularly beat up those who harass women), she makes sure her friends are safe, she cares about everyone who she should except herself. Her back is horrendously fucked up from abuse from her classmates when she was in high school. She has chronic pain and her spine is fucked up. It makes me want to fucking beat the ever loving shit out of so many people for a person I barely know (she’s lives in the uk and I’m American we met in discord and are just friends who play video games a lot). I am so close to punching my wall or pulling out hair because the sheer amount of bullshit that my friend faces for no reason besides people acting like sociopathic assholes and refusing to have any empathy for a literal disabled person.

I'm...actually surprised. Unbelievable. Frankly, I'm uncertain how to act in an organized manner. Additionally, your story just hit a nerve in me. Although I am capable of handling an unbearable amount of pressure on my shoulders since I experienced traumatic events, the same goes for your friend. So look: your friend isn't purely good or bad. Rather, she's a morally grey, complex, and vulnerable human who is not born to be good nor bad. For those who may not know what it is truly like to be morally grey, it is a term used to describe a character who is neither good nor bad. They have no motivation to do good or bad actions. On the contrary, morally gray characters follow their ambition rather than those of the greater good or evil. Nevertheless, they can either overcomplicate or oversimplify their life even if they already know what they're basically doing this time.

But what about her having a lot of good intentions? She is confirmed to be a good person who cares about keeping women safe. Sad to say, her good intentions lead to bad outcomes according to the cobra effect. The Cobra Effect is a phenomenon where an intended solution to a problem actually makes the problem worse. So that means we shouldn't consider her a morally good person since she has an imperfection and a tendency to make mistakes. What is meant by the road to hell is paved with good intentions? Most sources interpret this expression as meaning that good intentions are worthless unless followed up with action. Some offer an alternative interpretation: that actions that are taken with good intent can have unintended negative consequences.
Every action has a consequence means that every decision or action we take can lead to a result, big or small, good or bad, visible or invisible.
Consequence is the result or effect of an action, decision, or set of circumstances. It is the outcome of a particular course of action and can either be positive, neutral or negative.
Regardless of people feeling uncomfortable with impact, but it doesn't mean impact is always bad
