So for context, I’m already out as a lesbian to my friends and family, everyone was accepting. That was pretty easier, because I just told my friends about a crush I had and it was pretty obvious that I liked girls lol. But I feel like it’s harder to come out as nonbinary, just like I can’t fit that into conversation very easily, so I need advice on like how to do it. Also how to go about saying I want to change my name, I know my name means a lot to my family because my great grandma named me, but my new name (Kai) is close to my old name, and super close to the nickname my parents have for me, so I think that won’t be too bad.

Maybe say it in a car, whil everything is calm and such
Tbh I think I’m more worried on how to tell my friends, I just have to actually convince myself to tell my parents.
Tbh, friends I’d say are generally a bit more accepting than parents NGl
Usually, but my parents have been very accepting and it’s just harder to bring it up to my friends, I don’t really know why
Maybe the reason why it was easy for me was because we already had a gay and non-binary friend in the group
Yeah, I have some trans friends but they don’t go to my school, so that doesn’t help much. (I’m actually hoping to tell them today in a couple minutes lol, but I need help to talk to my other friends)
Didn’t see them today (I forgot they have clubs on wednesdays) but I came out to my mom and she was really supportive! I just need to figure out how to come out to my friends still
Nice!!!!
Came out to my dad, and he said his first thought was a song with the line “What’s up Kai, you little b*tch” so yep that was something, but yeah he was also supportive lol, and I told two of my friends!
Pretty well!
Nice!
