I want to come out but I'm not sure if this is a good idea. My mom is def homophobic and transphobic. She said some thinks abt people using they/them pronouns that I don't want to repeat. My dad always makes racist jokes but never homophobic and idk if its good or bad. Knowing him prob bad. Can anyone pls help me figure this out?

Im still closeted to most of my family so maybe you should wait till ur old enough like 18 to come out so if something bad happens u can run away and they cant force u to do anything cuz u would be an adult (in the us) and if u want to come out u can tell close friends and stuff like that!
