I say you should just do it!! First of all if they accept you they’re a real friend, plus I believe in you and you got this!! Try not to care so much about what he said, it’s just rude and stuff, personally him just saying that kinda proves that he’s not a good friend .

he is a real friend tho, ive been friends with him for around 10 years and he doesn't really have a way with words
